Like Audrey Hepburn once said: Paris is always a good idea. This place has a special place in my heart because it is both the city of love and one of the biggest fashion capitals in the world. The Parisienne style inspires me every day because of its elegance and simplicity. When I went to the city for a weekend I had to pick up some very french ensembles, a trip to Paris in 3 looks:
If there is one print that goes in and out of style every year it is snakeprint. I happen to be a very big fan of this trend because you can sneak a little spice into every outfit. For this look I went for snake print trousers with a white jumper, white trainers and to top it off a beige coat. The colours go great together and blend in perfectly with the beautiful Parisian streets.
Mix a hint of streetstyle with a lot of Parisienne flair and you have the first look. The breton striped shirt is quintessentially french, just like baguettes but they didn’t quite go with my outfit. This sailor classic needed a little modern touch so I wore my oh so trendy dad sneakers. The sailor hat topped off the ensemble perfectly making me ready to dive into the french city.
Black is always a good idea when it comes to classy looks but for this particular one I got inspired by Brigitte bardot and Audrey Hepburn. These true style icons have worked turtle necks and paper bag trousers on many occasions so of course I wanted to try the look out myself. The verdict? I have never looked more chic in a casual ensemble before so I’m totally going to steal their looks more often. Merci Brigitte!
