Every woman goes through the same struggle in the morning: they go to their closet full of clothes but they don’t have anything to wear. What to they go for? A good old classic like the white shirt. There’s nothing wrong with wearing basic items as long as you add personal touches. Today I’m going to show you two ways to style a white shirt.
BLACK AND WHITE
Black and white are like yin and yang (literally), they complement each other out keeping everything balanced. For the first outfit I combined the simple white shirt with a classy black coat. This tweed coat has got some serious chanel vibes going on (which is the main reason why I love it) but it’s also very on trend. Long jackets and coats were everywhere on the runway so it’s a must-have this season. To make the outfit less dressy I opted for a pair of ripped jeans and mules with a fun print.
SILVER AND STRIPES
Silver clothes were all over the runway for s/s. Brands like Chanel and Comme Des Garçons sent all silver ensembles down the catwalk. Wearing something similar out would not be the best idea because let’s face it, we don’t want to look like astronauts. I chose to wear silver slip-on shoes to incorporate the trend into my outfit. They are the cherry on top of my stripy blazer and white shirt outfit. Talk about a perfect ensemble for a day at the office or drinks in a nice café.
